Expert reports and consulting
An independent, technically reasoned assessment – as an expert report, a technical statement or a second opinion. And if you are temporarily without technical leadership: as interim technical management.
What it is about
Before important decisions, an outside view helps: does the engineer’s concept meet your requirements? Has the cause of a failure really been found? Is a quotation technically complete? I assess independently, give traceable reasons and say clearly where I see risks.
My expert reports are private expert opinions. I am not a publicly appointed and sworn expert. I disclose any potential conflicts of interest before accepting an assignment.
Scope
- Expert reports on electrical installations and supply concepts
- Technical statements on designs, calculations and quotations
- Second opinions on concepts and causes of failures
- Interim technical management: temporary takeover of technical leadership tasks
Result
You receive a written, traceably reasoned report or statement. For interim management, we agree tasks, authority and reporting lines in writing beforehand.
Typical situations
- Investment decisions and comparison of options
- Unclear causes of failures or disputes over defects
- Review of design documents before approval
- Vacancy or transition in technical leadership
